Very few people know that actress Geethu Mohandas is a critically acclaimed director too. Her Socio-political film Liar`s Dice` in Hindi has received two National Awards in 2014 and has won Special Jury Award in Sofia International Film Festival.

Her next film Moothoon` is a bilingual film in Malayalam & Hindi. It is written and directed by Geethu and has Nivin Pauly as the hero. It is great news for Nivin Pauly fans. Geethu has shared the first look poster through facebook and Nivin Pauly has forwarded it in his timeline.

Nivin Pauly appears in a tonsured look in the poster. The film will be shot in Lakshwadeep and Mumbai.

The film narrates the story of how a 14 year old boy from Lakshadweep sets out on a journey to find out his elder brother.

Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap writes the hindi dialogue for the film. Cinematography is by Geethu`s husband Rajeev Ravi. Editing of the film is by Ajith Kumar and Sound Design by Kunal Sharma.
